Week 1: Line Confidence & 3D Awareness

Day 1
- Ghosted lines (draw straight lines without rulers)
- Overlapping lines (try drawing over the same line 3x as accurately as possible)
- Circles and ellipses (aim for uniform size and shape)
Day 2
- Draw a cube from various angles; include draw-through lines
Day 3
- Ellipses inside boxes
Day 4
- Line smoothing test (with and without digital stabilizers)
- Digitally trace a paper sketch (simulate line weight manually)
Day 5
- Gesture drawing (30s–1min figure sketches)
Day 6
- Draw a simple object (chair, cup, etc.) using basic 3D shapes
- Ghost long smooth lines (arc exercises)
Day 7
- Loomis head construction (front and side)
- Draw the head in 3 different angles

Week 2: Perspective & Simplification

Day 8
- Draw cylinders and spheres inside boxes
- Ellipse practice (angle and consistency)

- Trace simple reference objects into 3D forms
- Draw-through objects (like transparent shoes or backpacks)
Day 10
- Gesture poses using stick figures + cylinders + boxes
- Build-up process: stick → box → volume
Day 11
- Draw 10 hands using simplified shapes
- Study the forearm + hand as a 3D form
Day 12
- Draw 10 character silhouettes
- Pick 2 and add surface details
Day 13
- Head rotation practice (top-down/side angles)
- Facial alignment grid (map features across rotations)
Day 14
- Re-draw an older sketch using better construction

Week 3: Stylization & Structure

Day 15
- Gesture poses (add simple forms over them)
- Turn gestures into character silhouettes

- Complex object breakdown (e.g., lamp, bicycle, camera)
- Ellipse accuracy drill
Day 17
- Copy hand photos using basic shapes
- Repeat a few from memory

- Stylized face templates (5 different shapes)
- 5 facial expressions for the same character

- Full-body simplified figure forms
- Foreshortening limb practice
Day 20
- Object rotation (draw one object from 5 angles)
- Digital inking practice (clean up an old sketch)

- Trace a photo, then redraw it from memory
- Design a prop (e.g., weapon, bag, bottle) from shape blocks

Week 4: Creative Projects & Review

Day 22
- Design a character using only boxes, spheres, and beans
- Draw that character in 3 poses
Day 23
- Prop turnaround (front, side, back views)
Day 24
- Pose + expression combo sketch set (happy, tired, excited, angry, etc.)
Day 25
- Mini comic panel (stick figures + rough scene)
Day 26
- Re-do Day 1 drills and compare progress
Day 27
- Final character sheet (head, expressions, full body, prop)
Day 28
- Plan out a 2–3 frame loop animation idea
- Optional: try to animate or rough sketch it
Day 29
- Personal prompt: "Draw a moment you'd love to animate someday"
Day 30
- Choose 3 older pieces from the challenge and redraw them cleanly
